My latest carving. This is a small study of a mermaid, done mostly during breaks at the furniture shop. It measures about 4″ by 9 1/4.’ I’ve been carving like crazy lately, but it’s all been commissioned pieces. I love doing commissions, but they don’t leave a lot of free time for personal works like this. This actually started out as a quick practice study. But I liked it so much, I decided to finish it. This will be going into my Etsy Store, as soon as I get some higher quality photos of it. My poor Etsy Store desperately needs some inventory. So this will be a nice addition. If you are interested, I’ll be asking $400 for it.
