New Carving and Upcoming Art Show

Wood Carving of two dragons. Done in Basswood with Walnut Bases, and finished with oil paint.

Hey everyone. I’ve just recently finished a pair of dragon carvings that I originally started as demo pieces for a woodcarving demo I did at Boskone Science Fiction Convention in February. I like them so much, I’ve decided to keep them together, and have titled the piece Dragon Twins.

I’ve entered the Dragon Twins into this year’s Dartmouth Health Employee and Volunteer Art Show. They’ve been accepted, and will be on display in the display case in the Rotunda at the Main Entrance, There will be a reception on Thursday, April 9th, at 5 pm. Please stop if you are free that evening. The Dragon Twins will be on display through May, so feel free to drop in and take a peek any time.

As always, thank you so much for taking the time to read my little blog. I really appreciate it.
