Hysteria, an Oil Sketch by Jay Trefethen

I’ve been experimenting lately with using unstretched canvas to do sketches that are much larger than what I’m use to. This is my second one. It is a nice change to work large like this. Up until now, my work rarely got larger than 18” X 24,” and is usually more like 11” X 14,” so this is interesting. So far, I think this new technique is working.
